after a few bad experiences i had one year ago, when i first tried, to move to 27 IPS displayes, and i have tried 3 dell u2713HM( all had crosshatching + alot of glow ) + one lg ( i cant remember wich model but had backlight flicker ) + 29 inch dell ( with one dead pixel in center), i said is time to give IPS pannels and new change. So i need advices ! are this 2 display faulty ? i am doing something wrong here with my spyder ? i tried to read contrast also in completely dark room. amongs other things i dont like about it, it has the same contrast problem !!! and the same high black level 0.22 at o brightness ( 115 lumeni) i bought from an online store, a display who was returned by another customer, so i got a 44% discount, and i was expecting some dead pixel, but i said, hey, its ok, ill give it a try anyway, to see it, and if i dont like ill send it back for a refund. the black level for 110 lumen is 0.17 ! and the contrast is 700! When i read the black level of my old samsung TN pannel. ![]() both on HDMI and DisplayPort ! i have a NVIDIA card, and is enabled full range. and the resulting contrast is ~ 550 !!! even with 100% brightness, the black level incresses the same, so contrast remains around the same value. I first got the asus MX27AQ 3, i adjusted it to 120lumen bright, thats ~ 30 brightness, and when i read dark levels, i cant get below 0,22. So my questions are ? i have 2 faulty displayes? I am never able to get a contrast over 600:1 !!!! I tried all posible setings on this 2 displayes, i tried DVI, displayport, HDMI. ![]() i have a Spyder 4 calibrator, with i used it with spyder4pro, basicColor Display 5, DIspcalGUI and HCFR. The reason that i registered on here, is that i need some help or an advice with something i dont understand related to this 2 displayes. i own this 2 monitors, and i will do a side by side comparation.ฤก) read this please.
